About Jorji and Impossible Forest
Help little Jorji to survive in his journey to the depths of Impossible Forest, in this super-hard, hand-crafted 2D platformer.
Impossible Forest was a very peaceful place, filled with cute inhabitants. But once upon a cruel wizard called Nemrok curses this place with wretched charms, placing seeds of evil into every living soul of Impossible Forest, even into "the Guardians of the forest" - the long-lived protectors of the forest.
You are playing as forester boy, named "Little Jorji" - the one who has an immunity to the evil wizard's charms. The controls are very simple - jump, air-dash, shoot, climb - but levels will become hard very fast and your every fail will be a lesson. Fast respawns, puzzles and crafty enemies will make your journey even more fun. Your main aim will be to purge evil forces from the Impossible Forest, making it peaceful again, while understanding why Nemrok has such an interest in this place ?
What Steam players say

Jorji and Impossible Forest is a challenging 2D platformer that appeals to fans of punishing difficulty, featuring hidden gems and branching level paths with decent level design for its low price. However, players consistently criticize the game for control issues—poor keyboard layout that can't be changed, controller mapping problems that make the game unplayable for some, and clunky mechanics like awkward spring physics—which many feel make the difficulty frustrating rather than fair, compounded by lack of graphical settings and occasional performance hiccups.
This is a retro 2D platformer/shooter with the "difficult" schtick that made Super Meat Boy and Dark Souls famous for annoying gamer with frustration. The graphics are pretty lazy but at least they're not pixel "art". The game maps PC gaming controllers as if they are console peasant pads so you run constantly to the left, rendering the game unplayable, not that I am sure it would be worth playing even if it worked properly. As always, thumbs down for any game that won't work for many dedicated PC gamers.2 found this helpful
Jorji and Impossible Forest is a platformer that prides itself on how many lives you loose trying to complete each level. It's not my cup of tea but I have to admit, that for those who like this sort of very hard game, it's a well made version of the genre. It has enhancements over a basic platformer in that there are gems hidden on levels that you need to collect and there is sometimes multiple ending ports that lead to different levels, they branch out in the level select menu as you unlock them. It also has some very nice level dynamics that you can see a sample of in the video. Ultimatly it's quite well made so those who like challenging platformers (that count your deaths for each level) should check it out especially given it's crazy cheap price of $2. Take a look at my video to see a sample of game play.... https://youtu.be/EzTNbYP62Jo Thanks for watching, please like, subscribe and comment.2 found this helpful

The game is ok. You can double jump and hug walls in Super Meat Boy fashion. You can shoot too. The springs are kinda clumsy. In any case there are several levels you have to find by yourself, to play on :) The default keyboard control keys are not very well placed in my opinion, and you cant change it ingame. It seems that you cant change graphic settings or switch to window mode either. Also i think the game may be lagging after playing for a while, maybe depending on the level. I think the game would be nicer if it had a bit more polish to it, but anyway its an ok platformer.
Nice game! Easy to play, but levels are pretty hard. Managed to die 300 times in an hour xD
