About Jump, Step, Step

Jump Step Step is a gorgeous and funny programming game with bonsai trees, a crazy robot and a broken rocket. Bob is short-circuited and goes mental. Please send him a series of moves to guide him back to his ship. Without your help Bob will probably tell himself to step on a spike and die.

✦ AI summary

Players praise this educational programming puzzle game for its cute presentation, clever robot character interactions, and well-designed puzzles that teach computer logic concepts effectively. However, common complaints include the game being quite short, lacking quality-of-life features like level restart buttons and replayability options, and some puzzles requiring unclear mechanics or brute-force solutions. The game is generally recommended for children learning programming concepts, though experienced players may find it too easy and short for the asking price.

A nice educational game. You control a robot. You don't have a manual control of it, but you can set a program (a several commands) and it can execute it. So, basically how the computer works. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1518662059 The game is great for children to help them understand how the computer works. The game is short, it is a plus. There are a few flaws. You cannot restart the level , it is bad because you can get in endless cycle. Also, there is no way to leave from this cycle. I can recommend this game for children!

This game is an absolute treat! It throws ya right into it, ya pick up the story from the cute little robot BOB and a snarky controler~ I found their back and forths a nice respite from some of the puzzles. The programing aspects are well executed, though perhaps a little more explanation on a few aspects might be good, or I might just be dumb XD I did find a few puzzles I had to "brute Force" my way through, but those aside the puzzles are well designed and you have a real feeling of accomplishment when you finish them! The Visuals itself are clean, crisp, cute, and pretty. beautifully rendered plants and waterfalls of cubes really pull the world together! If I had to rate this game I'd give it a solid 9/10! only critisisms I can think of are a few better explanations would be nice and a look at a few puzzles... OTHERWISE, thisi s a wonderful game and I look foreward to tryign to make it to the leaderboards!

I can't really recommend the game, consider this review neutral, you can avoid this game unless you want to use it for teaching children (0-12), it is very short and way too easy, at least 3 hours, I don't think the game has "secret levels" to try to find. You can't select which level you want to repeat unless you play the game again or return one challenge before with the "go back" button. The game lacks quality-of-life mechanics, and, in general, its gameplay mechanics are underdeveloped.
