JumpStream

JumpStream is such a fun game! I enjoy streaming it on Mixer and letting my viewers mess around and make my life miserable. Lots of great laughs and a good way to have your viewers interact with the stream and streamer.

"JumpStream" is a garbage "Streamer" app, not to be confused with a real game. The idea is to get your Twitch stream... wait a second. Mixer? Microsoft's "Mixer" Twitch ripoff? Mixer is dead, dude. Ok so the idea is that you would get Mixer viewers on your stream to help you built a crap 2D retro pixel platformer... damn, what an utterly terrible idea. No wonder it failed. And Mixer, too. Anyway, this is dead and can't be used anymore. The developers left this on Steam just to pollute the place, I guess. More pollution for genuine indie devs who make real games for gamers to have to compete with. This features really godawful, lazy pixelcrap "art" instead of real graphics. It's hard to say if this was because the developer didn't have the skill to do the job of creating 3D visuals, or couldn't afford to hire someone who does, but it also doesn't matter. What matters is that this looks bad because of that decision, and that's a major deterrent to gamers. Games like Terraria and Stardew Valley succeeded [i]despite[/i] the bad graphics, not because of them. [h1] Mixer [/h1] This one is heartbreaking. I didn't actually know that Mixer was gone until I attempted to play this game. I mean what are you supposed to expect? I had moved personally away from Xbox 1 and didn't realize that they had shut down their integrated streaming service. It genuinely makes no sense. For sure Twitch and Y*****e need some competition, and having integrated games tied to a specific console makes sense. Unfortunately, it was likely due to greed and budget that ended up killing the platform. And ending the careers of many people relying on the website for income. Take this game as an example, a great idea, to play with your viewers. This is already something that is integrated into games nowadays. Games will have stream integration and it allows for unique experiences. This is just the next step, games reliant on audience participation. I hope that the only reason Digital Continue hasn't taken this off the steam store, is that they are trying to make the game work with both twitch, y*****e, or some other service. Maybe chaturbate. Either way, it's dead for now, and appearing abandoned, so avoid the game.

Музыкальное сопровождение идеально подходит под ритм игры, создавая почти гипнотическое погружение. Уровни становятся все более и более сложными, но при этом игра не кажется несправедливой. Процедурная генерация уровней обеспечивает реиграбельность на высоком уровне, каждая попытка уникальна. Единственным минусом, пожалуй, является отсутствие какой-либо системы прогресса (хотя, возможно, это и к лучшему - ничто не отвлекает от чистого геймплея). В целом, JumpStream - это отличный способ скоротать время и проверить свою реакцию. Рекомендую всем поклонникам жанра!
