Just A Scare

really good graphics, and similar gameplay to fears to fathom. sadly, it stops working for me when the intruder tries to break in the house after getting the food and drink. quite the few reviews had the same problem as me. so it is quite a glitchy game. somehow, a few others have been able to get through and pass the glitches, and actually finish the game. since its free, id recommend give it a try i guess. but dont expect much. story is meh, and it might break on you.

Armada Fighters is a game that I enjoyed because it keeps its focus firmly on fast arcade shooting while giving me more control over my movement than I expected. I pilot a small spacecraft through enemy waves from an angled top down view, but unlike many classic shoot em ups, I am not constantly forced forward. I can move ahead, slow down or even retreat, which makes positioning much more important. The movement is easily my favorite mechanic. I have to think about where the enemies are coming from, how much space I have and whether moving forward will actually make the situation better. I liked being able to deliberately slow down before entering a dangerous area because it makes the game feel more tactical than a simple reaction test. The weapon and equipment systems add another layer of progression. I can improve my ship and change the way I approach each level, while permanent upgrades give me a reason to keep playing after a failed attempt. I enjoyed that sense of gradually becoming stronger, especially when I could return to a difficult section and handle it much more confidently. You get to do a number two and take a shower. That's about the extent of gameplay this little experience has to offer. It's free. It has a nice atmosphere. It ends as soon as things get interesting. Not really worth playing, but it's free, it will pass twenty minutes.

This game is big ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ terrible, it's not progressing. I took a shower and was about to go to bed when it said something and then nothing. I wondered if I was being stupid, so I went out and came back in, but it just stopped there. Game developer, please don't attempt something like this again. Stay home and play Fears to Fattom or something.
