This original adventure game explores a love story between two beautiful souls through ingenious humour and a bizarre, hand-drawn, frame-by-frame animation style. Our hero’s beloved has been abducted by evil spirits, and the only way to reunite them is to reincarnate himself as a dragon to defeat Evil. But something has gone wrong, and his soul is reborn as a worm named Pip. Now Pip must overcome the challenges of a surreal world, solve mind bending puzzles, and save his love. Choosing between good and evil, Pip learns the laws of Karma, and his choices define the outcome of the game.Features:
- Play as Pip and explore a rich, bizarre world.
- Use Astral sight, a power that allows you to peek into the world of spirits at any point of the game.
- Learn Karma laws through choice and action. Each evil deed spoils Pip’s karma and changes his appearance. Good deeds purify karma. Key characters respond differently to Pip’s karma, opening additional storyline.
- Hand-drawn animations of the varied interactions of Pip with his strange environment. The environment and other characters of the quests are drawn individually for each situation.

Karma. Incarnation 1 is a mobile app that's been dumped on Steam as if it was a real PC game (it's not)... it's a cash grab from greedy mobile devs. This mobile app is a simple iPhone screen tapping adventure game where you solve some simplistic puzzles by tapping and swiping on your phone. This tapping will help you guide a spirit whose girlfriend spirit got eaten by some monster, so your plan is to be born as a dragon and then go terminate your enemy with extreme prejudice. Unfortunately things go wrong and you pop out as a badly drawn blob thing instead. Whatever. If you're looking for a weird, esoteric kind of adventure like Botanicula or Samorost, which this is trying to be, you won't find it here. It fails to deliver on the core premise. It's worth pointing out this is just 1/3rd of a complete game, with the remaining two parts abandoned by the mobile app devs behind this, never to be seen or heard from again. So if you like unfinished things, I guess you have a great opportunity here. For everyone else, this is yet another reason to avoid some mobile app that's been shoved on Steam as an afterthought. Karma. Incarnation 1 is a point and click adventure game with surreal but beautiful presentation, surprasingly involved story (for a game with no words), and genuanly engaging puzzles. Though the game put me off at first with its a bit overwhelming rich visuals and absurd nonsensical setting, after first third I got into the groove and became piecing together the cartoony logic of this world and its narrative, and the puzzles themselves. The game has very unique aesthetic, mostly reminiscent of some Soviet cartoons. It is clearly a labor of love, and a labor of a lot of labor — as just the amount of unique animations clearly speaks of the devs' passion. The only issue is that this game was supposed to be part 1 of ongoing series, but as of now remains standalone (almost 10 years from release). But "Karma" really stands on its own, so if you want to have a strange and unfamiliar adventure for one gaming evening — I can recommend this game.
Great visuals and solid point and click game, but it's basically a part of an unfinished story. The game tells you to collect 3 things at the start and by the end you only collect 1, then the credits play.
