About Keeper Of The Valley
Jump, glide and dash your way to the top of the mountain in this 3D adventure platformer set in an open and enchanting valley!
You play as Sky, the Keeper's apprentice, who must venture into the Valley to save her master from succumbing to a deadly illness by finding a unique flower of healing that only grows on top of the mountain.
Overcome the platforming trials of the Valley, seek out the Spirits for their blessings along the way, and unlock movement abilities that take you all the way from the low grasslands to the floating islands up high.
Find your way and secure the future of the Valley.
Keeper of the Valley features a satisfying movement-based design with interesting open-map platforming, original music score, motion captured animations, and a rich and striking visual design. We have developed our own motion matching technology for the animations as well. The game is best experienced with a controller and is open to mouse and keyboard as well.

[b] Playtime [/b] The game is quite short and could probably comfortably completed within an hour, there aren't any side objectives or collectibles to extend the length of the game. [b] Controls [/b] I played with mouse and keyboard and the controls worked just fine, although it took me a few minutes to get the camera set up and it never felt exactly right. [b] Visuals/Graphics [/b] Visually the game is very pretty although the further you go up the mountain it is just a lot of reused assets resized to be very large. The landscape is however quite nice for the amount of people that worked on it. [b] Bugs [/b] I did not run into any bugs except for the occasional issue where I would get stuck on terrain when platforming and it would not let me jump so my only option would be to fall, but due to the frequent placements of the checkpoints this was a non issue. Cute little platfomer which takes ~40 minutes to complete. It is very atmospheric and has a good soundtrack. Great job to all the developers!2 found this helpful

This game has a lot of potential, and for a free game you can't really complain too much. Sometimes there isn't a clear path - the map is quite unnecessarily big. The controls are buggy, especially the camera to look around. The one achievement also isn't clear, if it is for completing the game I think it may be broken. Otherwise, a cute little platform game.1 found this helpful
