Mysterious murders. A cursed apartment building. Cohabitating with a cute demon girl?!
In a certain apartment building in a certain town, four of its tenants were found dead. Not only that but their stomachs were gruesomely sliced open and their organs removed. A thick miasma emanating from inside the building suggests that something supernatural was involved. When not even the police can step in due to the mysterious nature of the incident, that's when Haruhisa Tatsumi is called in. Haruhisa is a diviner who works under the Bureau of Divination which is in charge of matters of a supernatural nature.
Alongside Anneliese, a demon from England who also traveled to Japan for her own reasons, the two of them will investigate what happened in the apartment and unravel the mystery behind those deaths.
...Or that's how the plan was supposed to go but Anneliese is a creature of the night and seems more interested in Haruhisa instead. Will he be able to fight against temptation or will he simply give in to his own desires?

I had been interested in Kimagure Temptation for a while. I was hesitant not only because of the nukige gooner-bait design of Anne, but also because I wasn’t sure how much I would enjoy a mystery story based on supernatural ghosts. Thanks to enjoying the relatively new Shiori Death Diary by Laplacian, which has a very similar ghost mystery style since it’s by the same writer, Kazuki Fumi, I finally decided to pick up Kimagure Temptation. [h1]Psuedo-Sequel to Nanairo Reincarnation[/h1] I’m glad I read Nanairo Reincarnation by the same developer right before Kimagure because, while technically a standalone game, Nanairo sets up the ghost setting much better than Kimagure does. It almost feels like Kimagure assumes you already know all the ghost rules from Nanairo so it can focus on subverting them. That said, Kimagure Tempation still works fine as a standalone title. Seeing a character from Nanairo show up here aka best girl Kotori, based on her true ending even, did put a smile on my face. Even though she never appears in person in Kimagure, hearing her voice in phone calls, with a more mature but still obviously wholesome and helpful personality like in Nanairo, was low-key on…3 found this helpful
