Devil and Pitfall

Devil and Pitfall is a fun, NSFW focused Otome where you fall through a pit and meet a, dare I say it, devilishly handsome man. Your goal is to try and somehow get out alive, to find the exit the devil is teasing you with. However, around every corner is some kind of danger. Be it either death, or the devil trying to take your soul. Or just you. Flirt away with the handsome devil, maybe you can even make him submit? There are a total of seven endings, some “bad” endings which do not include NSFW scenes. Others, which do, are listed on the steam page so you can see the exact content they include on the chance it is not something you’d want to experience. Each scene becomes very obvious to what it will lead to as well, so with the steam page’s ending information, you can easily access the scenes you want to see. Due to this there isn’t really any slowburn or build up, the game is focused on experiencing spicy scenes with the obsessive Devil, who wants you all for himself. It's a pretty short R18 rpg between the MC and the devil with different slightly explict sex scenes depending on your dialouge choices. I would have liked this game to be longer, it's a premise i'd like to see more if but alas. I would not mid more for these 2 characters.

It was a pretty decent game/visual novel. Loved the writing, enjoyed the super spicy scenes, made me shy away. (ó\\w\\) Frankly, this felt more like a teaser game or demo. Less like a paid game, to be honest. This type of games usually go for $2-$5 on DLSite because of the length of the game… It was quite short. There was a lot of Japanese onomatopoeia, like another user that left a review, said. That kinda ruined the mood, sometimes. [spoiler] Instead of something weird like “JOOZOO,” “yoooosh” text sound effects, it could have been something like “Schlick, slurp, lick, moan, groan, slush…” You know the rest…if you know English word sound effects… The moan dialogues like “ah, fu…” were fine though.[/spoiler] There should have been more CGs to follow the R18 scenes to follow the actions, so it seemed more natural and smooth flowing, almost like those things are actually happening. Not just the changing facial expressions (that was good, but CGs needed to follow) even with diff positions. (Look at Overtime demo on itch.io, if you want an example. This game was both erotic and charming. I really enjoyed the way the devil was written and how there was the option to check in with the character. I enjoyed all the endings and the memory room. While the game is definitely complete in terms of the story I did wish there was a little more of it just to enjoy the interactions between the characters more. Good luck on your next game I am looking forward to it.

A fun little eroge! It's pretty short but enjoyable ([spoiler]like the devil's d**k[/spoiler]). I completed all the endings in less than 3 hours without a guide, but it can be done in less time. There is a way to get the other endings from the menu, for people who don't want to bother unlocking them manually. The spicy scenes make most of the game and are very kinky, with some elements unusual in otome or joseimuke games. The English version includes Japanese onomatopoeia transcribed as-is. There are a few things that could be improved (BGM/sound effects, skip option, etc.) but I'm looking forward to the next game!
