The broad range of genres, the execution, and the humor, place this only slightly below Arcade Paradise in my opinion. It lacks the polish and ambiance of that title. However, the story mode is mercifully short, and genuinely humorous. You can freely play in your Arcade without restraints. And this one is surprisingly inexpensive, for such a competent representation of the Arcade experience.4 found this helpful
i’m just saying, maybe focus on more original twists to the classic arcade games instead of poorly imitating what they already did in the 80’s and 90’s. that said the idea of a retro game challenge style story mode is pretty cool, and he fact you tried to include a fighting game at all is commendable. even if these games are derivative though, what made me refund was the lack of polish or visual flair on anything (if you’re gonna knockoff these old games, at least give them the neon vector treatment like geometry wars or pac man championship edition) . still pretty cool that this was all made by 2 guys though.1 found this helpful
