This game has a unique style and feel. Really good story and surprisingly deep mechanics. A lot of seemingly simple characters have abilities that pair really well together. There are tons of combos that all seem pretty viable. Definitely will keep playing! After playing for a bit longer, the game is very well balanced. There are a lot of competent teams/matchups and nothing seems obviously overpowered. The top players have a good mix on party composition. And there are a lot of combos to try!3 found this helpful
King's Devotion has been a genuinely enjoyable surprise. I first discovered the game through the Arcanist community, as both titles share the same lead developer. That connection alone caught my attention, but King's Devotion quickly earned a place in my regular rotation. The game gives me a nostalgic feeling that reminds me of a blend between Final Fantasy X and Yu-Gi-Oh! Forbidden Memories. It scratches that satisfying itch of experimenting with different team compositions, discovering powerful synergies, and developing new strategies to overcome each challenge. The progression feels rewarding without being overwhelming, creating a well-balanced experience that constantly encourages trying something new. One of my favorite aspects is how relaxing the game can be. After dealing with the competitiveness and pressure of other games, I often find myself coming back to King's Devotion to unwind and relieve the stress of the day. It's become one of those games I can simply enjoy at my own pace. One piece of advice I'd give to new players: take your time and read the story. That's honestly my biggest regret. I rushed through much of it because I was eager to progress, and lo…1 found this helpful
I have enjoyed this game so far. It gives me arcade-style vibes - can be mindless but not too mindless. There are many complexities to team composition and several nuances to combat strategy that I have yet to master...lol. Free to play and not at all in your face with microtransactions. Also, for the completionists out there, all achievements are readily attainable! Give it a shot!1 found this helpful
Game is a buggy mess it freezes multiple times through act 1 and 2. Mine is froze on startup now for reasons im unaware it has a flashing arrow pointing at nothing and it wont let me click on anything. Dont waste your time.
it's like an auto-battler but you have to manually tell your guy to attack. All of the worst aspects of Gatcha games bland uninspired story that dumps 17 very hard to pronounce names at you in the first 5 sentences. Story also characterizes the battle as hopeless, but then starts with standard tutorial "Level 1 hero+ 1 star melee unit vs level 1 orc" kind of fights I stopped playing before I was eligible to write a review, and felt strongly enough to turn the game back on so that I could leave a review
it is boring
