About Kingdoms of Age

Kingdoms of Age is a trading card game, which pits you against other kingdoms where you battle in the arena.

Each Realm boss starts with 30 health, each turn you gain an extra mana which means you can play better cards as the rounds go on. As you battle, you don't just have to defeat the boss, you have to defend from the enemy players cards which have been played.

To start with, there are cards from the realm, Aecegoth and from the realm, Sleoborus. Each realm has fighting cards, magic cards, boosters, auras, health giving cards etc. Some pre built decks contain mostly magic cards, some mostly attacking cards, and then we have the ability to create you're own decks.

There are four preset created decks to use, which you can edit. You can also create a number of your own decks from scratch using all available cards. All cards available can be used, there isn't any in app purchases or being forced to pay to get better cards.

There are also five different battle layouts to fight with, each giving a different variation to each battle.

THERE ARE NO IN APP PURCHASES FOR THIS GAME.

I refuse to call this a game. The biggest issue? There's no functional singleplayer mode. At least, not unless you grant third-party software access to your computer—which I obviously declined. After that, the game endlessly searched for a match… without success. Why a singleplayer mode needs to "find a match" is beyond me. The entire experience feels incredibly barebones. Honestly, it comes off more like a half-baked scam than an actual game. There are no selectable singleplayer or multiplayer modes. No variety. Just two buttons: "Play" and "Exit". The only customization you’re given is picking a deck layout. To make matters worse, there's not even an "Options" menu. No graphics, sound, controls, or difficulty settings—nothing. During my 10 minutes of playtime, the same single music track looped on repeat and quickly became annoying. You're forced to build a 50-card deck… yet the game barely offers more than that in total. So forget experimenting or creating different strategies. As for card mechanics? There's no depth—no armor, no bleed, no mana steal, no health regen, no overdrawing... absolutely nothing of note. There are also no in-game purchases or currency, so expandi…
