overall rating: 10/10 i wanted to post a positive review sooner, but told myself to wait until i 100% completed the game with all achievements. this is outright the best indie 3d platformer i've played. it perfectly emulates older 3d platformers like banjo kazooie/tooie, spyro, and even games like battle for bikini bottom. i grew up playing 3d platformers, and i've never seen an indie 3d platformer match the vibe so perfectly. firstly the graphics. i think they may look "bad" or "unimpressive" to some, but they're really charming to me. they make it feel more like a ps2/ps3 game because they're not overly perfect and detailed. the game is bright and nice to look at while keeping a nostalgia factor. also this game is proof that passionate game devs can make an incredible game even with premade assets (since, for some reason, premade assets are looked down upon. in asset flips i hate them, but this game is NOT that). the music is amazing. so catchy and the music fits the theme of each area. it's also dynamic, like going underwater changes the music. it's really high quality and i never got tired of the songs at all, unlike some games. i'm not sure who the composer(s) is/are but i…2 found this helpful
This is a 3D Collectathon inspired by N64 era platformers, with it being as difficult as one as well. Controller is a must and be prepared to die a lot. That being said, this game is expertly designed, propping level design on the same level as classics like Banjo-Kazooie. This game made me feel like I was back playing on retro consoles, discovering multitude of secrets and hidden quirks. Has a lot more modern QoL then older platformers too, and a pretty decent OST as well. Not much to say, but a really solid game.1 found this helpful
