Don't let that price tag fool you... this is not a deal!! It's honestly just a cheap, watered down version of Plate Up or Overcooked. I am playing on the deck and while the controls work perfectly on controller, you are so zoomed out that it is hard to really see anything. I realize it is not steam deck optimized and maybe it looks better on PC, but that is the least of this game's problems. Where do I even start? I have played every cooking game so I thought this would be pretty self explanatory. It's not. And there is no tutorial. So for the first bit, it's all trial and error with assembling and plating. But that is not the worst part. The walking, chopping and cooking is abysmally SLOOOWW. To the point of it being so cumbersome and unenjoyable. It's crazy because while it takes aeons for your food to cook, it burns in literally 2 seconds. All that hard work for nothing essentially. The pacing is off for a single player experience and you soon become overwhelmed day 1. Not too sure how you can mess up 2 button smashing, but this game looks and feels low effort and clunky.
