About Knightess

PRESENTATION

This is a 2D RPG in the style of Skyfall and Thorne.

The Kingdom is in the brink of Civil War. In one side the Barons want to keep the slavery, which is the basis of their economy. In the other side the Merchants want to put an end to it, as they believe trading is the future of economy. In the middle of all of that is King Aethelred, struggling to keep the Kingdom together while finding a solution.

Anastasia, Artemisia and Lozen, three mercenaries who roam the Kingdom's roads looking for work and people to help, are seen by the King as the possible solution to keep the peace, even if only temporally.
Join the three of them, as they journey in what will become a path of discovery, friendship and betrayal.

All I have to say is this: Controller support needs to be fixed, severely.

I swear I didn't know that this was from THAT publisher!!! Now what do I found in this game: a more or less generic story; some may find this interesting if the fights are tough....even more so if you don't get much loot for them, they hit you hard and nobody in your party knows any healing spells (a cure spell but that's it). Don't forget that your party hits like kindergarten kids if you don't use skill...skill that takes long to re-charge. Particularly from part 2 on you may have fun to do 1 - 2 fights and than retreat to the last town with an Inn/free bed. You will be rewarded with a beautiful landscape and nice NPC....oh, the NPC in many games there is the problem that those NPC have only that one sentence and are rather boring...not so in this game....relax most NPC don't talk at all!!! To make the game even more interesting there are items and rooms hidden....and you only find them if you walk every nook of the map. Oh and yes the controller needs a fix.

This game is lovely. Looks nice and feels good to play. Excellent art and art direction, great soundtrack, nice combat. The story takes a bit of time to unfold and doesn't seem to do a lot of hand-holding. Level design is really nice. Exploration is rewarded with nice loot. Enemy variety could be a bit greater. So far I find difficulty reasonable on the default setting.

A sort of different old school rpg featuring very nice art work and a deep and involving story that will draw you in if you give it time to set everything up. And along with the involving story, the searching and exploration are there with rewards in abundance. Side quests, secret rooms, mysterious areas ---- all there. The mazes/dungeons are complex but fun to play with the usual battles throughout that this time require a bit more thought that adds to the fun of adventuring and discovery. Music is good and game mechanics are fine. So for a unique challenge that will occupy you for many hours try this one for sure and help the characters maintain the peace in the kingdom. Recommended.

An old-school 2D RPG - excellent story line free the slaves and have the merchants way ? or endorse slavery and have the barons way. I'm not finished the game. Two of the boss battles have been hard. I can't wait to see how the story ends. + GIRL POWER!!
