Kriegsfront Tactics - Prologue is the proof of concept for Kriegsfront Tactics, an upcoming procedural turn-based mecha squad tactics game for military sim fans where we combine elements from classic tactical strategy RPG games, roguelikes, and lowpoly retro-style visuals.In this prologue chapter, you'll get to experience the game's opening story and roughly the 1st hour of gameplay. Set in alternate 1970s during an era of conflict in Southeast Asia, you'll play as a commander of a mecha squad sent behind enemy lines. Manage your squad, resources, and mechs. Complete your mission and survive the front while facing hard decisions that will test your morality.

This is really a good game. I really like how close the combat system is to XCOM, but I think that the boss fight with Bobcat is entirely too hard, as all of my soldiers were oneshot within 3 turns, even though I had the best equipment I had on them. I also think that the missions, while amazing in story, are very repetitive, and lack anything other than killing all hostiles. Overall, I give this a 7.5
Amazing, I think the global audience will be more accepting if the English using Netherland accent or British, since it use NICA invasion as background. Using US accent made it felt like Vietnam war. My opinion that the Global audience doesn't know this NICA invasion and their casus belli. For the Netherland it was swim or sink for their empire. As for the gameplay it is more than I expect and I came in with high expectation. Hope it make way to the Playstore as well, Godspeed for you guys! Definitely wishlisted!
Great start with somewhat realistic and granular mechanics which is rarely done so well. However, I absolutely hate how shots can phase through enemies just to permanently maim your own unit. The sniper literally made a shot on her teammate that was only possible if the bullet literally went straight through the enemy's giant torso.
Need this as my new turn-based fix.
Good game, its from the Heavy Gear universe, as are the machines, so it plays that ruleset. Liked the abilities and choices. Works well.
