"The Last Stand at Camp Zombie" is a top-down shooter with amazing hand-drawn graphics. Throughout the game, you need to survive waves of zombies and complete objectives to progress. Each wave becomes more challenging, introducing new enemies. A new wave starts after you kill the last zombie of the current wave. By killing enemies and destroying wooden crates, you earn points that you use to open doors, buy weapons, ammunition, healing items, and upgrades (reload speed, rapid fire, armor, etc.). Sometimes, health and ammo drop from enemies and crates. Shops are scattered around the map. The game shows your current objective, but there are no other hints or in-game map — you have to find everything yourself. The game also features local co-op for up to two players, many weapon variations, achievements, a leaderboard, and a great soundtrack. The price of the game is good and affordable. The only downside for me is that the game does not save progress, and if you die, you have to start from the beginning. After a few runs, the inability to dodge attacks in very tight spaces makes this game less enjoyable to play. If you disregard the game's distinctive black and white visuals, which add to its charm, this is a very standard top-down shooter in which you move through areas and kill zombies. Controls are straightforward: you can move around, run, and attack with melee or ranged weapon. Although it is possible to play with a gamepad, using a keyboard and mouse may be less annoying. The reason for this is that there is limited ammo, even for your starting and basic gun. On the other hand, there is a decent melee attack that deals good damage but has a very short range. What makes the game a bit different is that there are no randomly generated levels. Each game places you in the exactly same camp with same item and door placement. The objective is to explore and try to find the way out by opening doors and buying weapons or upgrades. Killing enemies and destroying crates earns you points, which are also the game's currency. Except for a few hurdles that require a specific item, almost all doors may be unlocked with points. The same currency can be used to purchase new weapons, heal,…

Would make cutscenes skippable, other than that I love it and could see it being expanded on even more. Make sure to play the "secret level" after you beat the campaign.

Needs a couple of adjustments. Firstly, difficulty modes including an easier mode. Secondly, because of the art style, which I like BTW, it is very hard to see where you can and can't go, makes it frustrating when you move into a dead end. Thirdly, the paths need to be a bit wider so you can actually move around and get angles on the enemies without getting hit all the time, As it is, it is just too tight, and comes down largely to fire-power rather than finesse. Negative review for now, but hopefully some changes in the future will change my opinion.
