About Lazer Cops
Lazer Cops is an 80's inspired retro bullet hell with a twist - players are connected by a LAZER TETHER. The best way to destroy enemies is to wrap your LAZER TETHER around them, then watch them explode into pieces. The bad news is that this tether also chains you to the other players. Oh, and if one of you dies, you ALL die. Better cooperate. Or else. Who exactly are you fighting? Doesn't matter. They're angry, they hate you, and they're in your way.
Are you a loose cannon that doesn't have any friends? That's OK. You'll just have to drive two cars at once. Sounds hard, doesn't it? Well, it is. But you're a grizzled cop who prefers to work alone. I'm sure you'll be fine.
Grab a friend, grab a couch, and sit down to enjoy good ole' fashioned couch coop.

"Lazer Cops" is a very poorly made retro bullet hell game that is inspired by the 80s, kinda, with a bunch of hideous looking neon car things (yeah it makes no sense) What do you do in the game? Well, shooting, but the other thing that doesn't make sense is a clumsy "tether" mechanic that would like you and other players together if there were any other players. There are no other players because, well, this is a rather poorly made game. The graphics here are particularly awful, so bad that it actually stands out as one of the worst looking games on Steam. Quite an accomplishment. It's a big contributor to the failure of the game to attract gamers despite having no up-front cost. Gaming is a primarily visual medium, and if developers want to succeed, they must understand that it's not an area for compromise. This game is fairly dated at 8 years old... and even back then it looked old and busted compared to contemporary, professionally made 3D games of the same period. It looked bad then, it looks worse now. Now on to pricing and value for gamers. There's no initial download price, but the developer was somewhat delusionally charging $7 USD for this. Игра "Lazer Cops" – это взрывной микс из ностальгии по аркадным шутерам и угарного кооператива. Визуально – пиксельный пир, с яркими цветами и тщательно проработанными деталями, напоминающий лучшие образцы игр 90-х. Геймплей динамичный и безумно увлекательный, особенно в компании друзей. Стрельба со всех сторон, постоянное движение и апгрейды оружия не дадут заскучать ни на секунду. Особенно хочется отметить юмор. "Lazer Cops" не стесняется высмеивать клише жанра, создавая абсурдные ситуации и запоминающихся персонажей. Боссы – отдельный вид искусства, каждый со своей уникальной атакой и предысторией. В одиночном режиме игра тоже хороша, но именно в кооперативе раскрывается весь её потенциал. Тактика, взаимовыручка и бесконечный хаос – вот что делает "Lazer Cops" отличным выбором для вечеринки с друзьями. Не без минусов конечно, иногда чувствуется недостаток разнообразия в уровнях, но общий позитив от игры с лихвой это компенсирует. Рекомендую всем любителям шутеров и хорошего юмора!
