About Legend of Homebody

✦ AI summary

Strategy clicks await in this minimalist idle game where you balance studying, creating content, and managing a shut-in's daily needs to build attributes and chase different endings within a time limit. Progress through freelance work—serializing novels, making music, or developing games—while juggling stamina, health, and self-improvement on your journey from bedroom to success.

The game is more difficult than the average simulation game and requires thinking about the right strategy to reach the goal.

(The game is purely fictional, do not try this out in reality.)
(Take Note: The game doesn't have any building elements and it is not a simulator.)
A simple casual game with no changing scene, no complex controls, requiring only the mouse to operate.
The idea of the game is to describe the story of a shut-in, studying hard and earning money. The inspiration for the game comes from my actual experience.
Work under someone? In this life, it is impossible to do so.
Certainly, the game is not close to reality, the nature of it is simplified. Contents are changed due to the game requirements and aspects, it is not a simulation, do not take it seriously.
If you have tried the game out and feel that working freelance is simple and easy. You'll be far from correct, clicking will allow you to learn the real skills? That is impossible.

The main idea is to learn and enhance individual attributes,to create and earn, ending within a timeframe, causing different endings based on achievements.

Clickable Furnitures:
1.Bed:Sleep, restore stamina.
2.Computer:Order takeout, studying, entertainment.Studying is the fastest way to increase the attribute.
3.Fridge:Store Takeouts.
4.Shower Room:Shower.
5.Toilet:Toilet break, the game is set to automatically take a toilet break when required, time will still be spent. In normal circumstances, there is no requirement to use the toilet.
6.Mat:Exercise,increase health.
7.Exit Arrow:Clinic. When sick, requires time and currency for recuperation. You can serialise novels, comics, make music and make games in the game.

Did I find the game fun? Yeah. Would I actually recommend it to anybody? No, I wouldn't. There is no real tutorial, what they have as one at least to me is very confusing. The English in this game is terrible, sometimes funny but not helpful when you're trying to understand the game. Still trying to understanding the mechanics, but the gameplay itself is pretty repetitive. I kind of like that but I wish there was a bit more direction. There is a story but very little, hardly even noticeable. Mostly, you're a workaholic trying to whatever creative thing you decide to do. I've had it on my wishlist forever, got it on sale. A decent time killer but sadly not as good as I hoped it would be.

no. honestly it's okay..? i guess? but the gameplay isn't it for me. i'm just someone who prefers more actions, animations and cutscenes.

I like life sims but this seemed somewhat unrealistic, bit too difficult and not enough story or dialogue to keep you pushing through, English translation needs improving as well as the game in general to make it more balanced, otherwise just feels like you're clicking the same few things over again with the same animations. I wanted to like it but I'm afraid it's boring..

The translation to English is a bit rough, but it's an engaging enough time management simulation for a playthrough. Lots to learn via walls of text right away but you'll catch on. I wish I had understood publishing and travelling earlier.

This game is a LOT harder than you would expect, don't be fooled by the appearance. I do like it, I usually don't like difficult games, I definitely died the first few times, and I actually tried pretty hard. If you're someone who's into cozy idle games or simple cute games, this has much more management and you have to make your choices very specifically. That being said, I would still recommend it as someone who sucks at it.
