Players praise this early access turn-based tactical game for its pure strategic depth without random chance mechanics and its impressive development by a single creator, with satisfying long-term planning payoffs and steady improvements to presentation. However, some find the steep learning curve and chess-like mechanics alienating, feeling misled by marketing materials, while others appreciate the unique strategy experience and developer responsiveness to feedback. The game appears to strongly appeal to hardcore strategy fans but may disappoint those expecting a more traditional or accessibl
Even though it is in early access I find it to be a great turn based tactical experience. No chances to hit or lucky draws, just straight forward tactical dominance. I've been playing this game since the early days and cant believe it has come this far with a single developer working on it! It is quite a learning curve but pulling off a tactical manoeuvre you were planing for the last 5 or 6 turns is damn satisfying. I see with this update the lighting and model quality has been improve substantially. I'll definitely be playing more than 150 hours this round.1 found this helpful
Very enjoyable. Great game for anyone that enjoys strategy and chess. Bare in mind that it is still early access but the devs are constantly updating it and listening to user feedback. Looking forward to seeing where this goes! It definitely has some great potential and it's great to see a really unique strategy game.1 found this helpful
The story line is strange the play system is similar to chess and checkers. hard to get used to.I just bought the game and i am having buyers remorse instantly. I was fooled by the screen shots and video of game play. The game looks good but when played it is a HUGE ! disapointment.1 found this helpful
