About Let's See What You Got
There's always room for improvement. Push your human tolerance to the limit with this unique and challenging physic-sandbox platformer. Run on the walls. Jump off the ceilings. Swing through a dark lab. Die, a lot. The trials before you won't be easy. So, let's see what you got.
The game is designed to challenge the player in such a way where they adapt their own style and platforming skills; no two players will play through each zone the same way. With a limitless combination of movement options and paths through a zone, there will always be a way to clear a zone faster. Compete with your friends and the world as you climb from just barely scraping through each zone in the first play through to smashing each zone in under thirty seconds.
Movement is very expressive. As a player gains more experience and unlocks new abilities, they'll create their own style. One player might prefer running up a wall, while another would swing around it, while another would jump up it.
There's also much more to do besides clearing zones with a surprise waiting for any player skilled enough to complete a play through.

I was lucky enough to get this game for free as a beta tester. I have since gotten into speedrunning it and have been enjoying it a lot. Casually the game was enjoyable albeit a little short (2 hour first playthrough). However once you complete the game there are other fun variations of the game like an all abilities mode (kinda like a NG+), and a reverse playthrough. There are also some fun easter eggs and secrets in the zones and lobby that make exploring worth while. The challenge levels found in the lobby also give the game some extra difficulty while still staying separate from the normal playthrough. All in all I think there is plenty of content here to justify the low price of $12 for a casual player. Speedrunning this game, however, is where it really shines. As you would with any speedgame, you get infinite replayability and this game definitely focuses on that aspect and has plenty of features that make it super speedrun-friendly. There is an in-game leaderboard that automatically updates your times and you can see where you rank so long as you are connected to the internet. There is also an in game timer that does not account for load times, so I don't even need …6 found this helpful
LSWYG is a great speedgame but an awful casual game unless you are fan of difficult games. Lets just list out some of the features that make this game good to speedrun because I have no idea how to format this review: - In game timer - Great skill based movement - Developed with community feedback - 10-20 minute long runs depending on your skill level - Hard to get burned out of due to the short runs - Easy to just boot up and do a run whenever you feel like it - 25 well designed main levels with some extra levels for anyone able to finish the game for the first time - Movement goes well with the level design. - Runs on garbage hardware. Here's what I dislike about this game: - Very poor casual experience. - Hard as hell when starting out.5 found this helpful
I've been playing this little gem for a good portion of a day and honestly this game is amazing. I can see myself playing this like i did with trials, trying to get good at all the little nuances and become a good high level player. ultimately this game is a quirky and fun little platformer/parkour game that gives you a jump, grapple and a repulse (throws you away from your cursor like a mini grenade). but as you will learn and see from the trailer, there is a lot more you can do and believe me when i say, he makes it look so much easier in the trailer. Its like if you made dark souls a parkour game. Honestly, buy this game. if you enjoy parkour platformers then there's no excuse to get this. It adds lots of speedrun friendly things like a timer, a leaderboard and an auto reset the moment you finish any non-story level. lots of incentive to replay and get those top times and i wish there was more people playing this to fill the leaderboards. and to the dev: please please add more levels! i love this and more, harder levels like an extra story would be amazing so i can get better and have more levels to grind out. i can see myself grinding these levels for sure. also please add an a…4 found this helpful

LSWYG never holds your hand. The player is let out into the world with little guidance, constantly unaware of what is to come next. Most learning is garnered through one's own experience and self-discovery. Once all 25 zones are complete, the game is far from over. The game branches off into two new forms of gameplay: challenge zones, and speedrunning. The challenge zones teach you new things, and test the player's mastery and precision. The speedrunning aspect does much of the same. In a competition with both oneself and others, one brings their times down: rapidly at first, but, as things get more optimized, the cuts in time become smaller and smaller, forming somewhat of an exponential curve. Speedrunning gives this game seemingly infinite replay value, for a run is never perfect unless you are tied with the TAS, the horizontal asymptote of perfection that is constantly mocking you, for it knows that computers will triumph over even the best of human ability.2 found this helpful
An extremely rage inducing yet addictive platformer with lots of groovy music and pleasing sound effects. The visuals are a little simple and the geometry can be a bit buggy, but overall, this game does exactly what it's supposed to. The movement is fun as well as unique. At first it feels quite janky and honestly a little daunting, but with enough practice, it's pretty swell. I love finding new ways to speed through the level and skip over certain points, it's quite fulfilling. Perfect for the raging gamer or the tryhard speedrunner. 7.5/101 found this helpful
