About Letter Quest: Grimm's Journey Remastered
The grim reapers Grimm and Rose need your help to defeat a legion of monsters, ghosts, and evil bunnies using the power of words!
Spell words to battle monsters, earn gems and use them to purchase upgrades, books, special items, potions, and much more! Letter Quest is a game about using your linguistic skills to survive. It's a turn-based RPG featuring high-res artwork, clever wordplay, and a great soundtrack.

All of the battles in Letter Quest Remastered can be played with a keyboard - no more hunting for letters with the mouse if you don't want to! Simply type letters to add them to the current word, hit backspace to remove the last letter typed, and much more!
Letter Quest Remastered also supports setting key bindings for all hot-keys right in the game's options menu.
Everything in Letter Quest Remastered works great on touchscreen laptops and computers, including Microsoft Surface Pro - you can even swipe to scroll lists and the map!
We're a two-man Canadian game dev team attempting to make great games. Letter Quest Remastered is a completely rewritten version of our first game, Letter Quest: Grimm's Journey.
The original Letter Quest was written in Flash and limited the platforms that we could release it on, so we spent over 600 hours rewriting it in Unity and are now proud to fully support Windows, Mac, and Linux!

I thank my friend for giving me this game. Thank you! At first glance, I didn't know what to make of this game. The protagonists look like Martin the martian from Looney Tunes. But then I gave it a go. Now I can't stop playing! An excellent game for writers, lexical enthusiasts, letters-oriented people. In short, those that have Archangel Gabriel as their patron. Now, you play as Death / Grimm (or Azrael) and start the day by liberating your friends from the deadly goons of a mysterious boss (haven't got to him yet). In order to defeat those goons, you have to form words out of the existing letters. Oh, boy. I don't work under pressure and in such limits... Be happy, you are not alone. The game helps you out with potions, armor, healing, comics, wizards, henchmen. You just need to form words and efficient ones too from a limited set. Let's see if you got this, young writer. PROS: - Comic-like characters, action-packed adventure, silly character descriptions, goofy animations; - Helping potions, armor and scythe upgrade, shields, everything to help you and defeat the bad guys; - So many achievements (got to get them all, I guess); - Limited set of letters to form words (use cr…4 found this helpful
Fought witches by spelling words - now I know how to write “epic” and “I survived.” Letters are my heroes.3 found this helpful
It's a nice looking word game with some rpg like elements but not really a big story. You basically fight monsters by spelling out words, upgrade your stats, and buy items to help you on your journey. I liked upgrading at first but then a lot of the upgrades didnt seem to change much so I just bought them to buy them. I think its a great concept of a game and would like to see more like it, with more variety in weapons/upgrades/monsters.
Fun little word game. The story is light but actually ads to the game. I really like the variance of different types of word related features and challenges that you are offered. It manages to offer a bit extra without losing focus on the fact this is a word creation game at its heart. I got it for a steal and am more than happy with what I bought. Also comes with the og version.
Charming. There is no better word for it. Simply, perfectly, charming.
played in 2018, loved it so much bought it twice.
