The path to healing lies through recognizing your own traumas, accepting your pain, and making a concerted effort. Turn on the light within yourself, look at yourself from a distance, and pull yourself together. As we say in Russia, "A drowning man needs his own help." Only when your feet touch the bottom of the swapm you can push off and swim to the surface. The game's protagonist is a young man named Jay. Jay has reached the ultimate level of despair and self-hatred. With nowhere lower to go except into the damp earth, he decides to push off the bottom and try to escape the swamp of his own subconscious. His main weapons are his own willpower and his beloved Sony Walkman.
