About Lightsaver
Lightsaver is a free-to-play, single-player 2D physics puzzle game about guiding a beam of light to its destination. Rotate your launcher, read the angles, and shape the path with placeable optical objects—then watch the beam split, bend, and bounce its way to the glowing door. Each level is a compact challenge built around satisfying “aha!” moments: a clean shot that becomes possible only after one perfect refraction through water, one precise bend through glass, or one last reflection off a mirror.

This is a satisfying game that will make you contemplate on the nature of light I recommend it to anyone who enjoys light-bending puzzles!
Strengths

Soothing Music That genuinely brought peace into my day
Beautiful Art I enjoyed the strong juxtaposition between the light-rays/bunnies/door compared with the dark jagged rocks/background
Short but sweet The game lasts 20-30 minutes but is a enjoyable way to spend a break from work
Really Educational Lightsaver portrays how light passes/refracts/reflects through different objects (water, glass, mirror) in a realistic manner. In addition, it also teaches you the angles that you need to have to get light to reflect.
Offers Analysis and Planning Modes. Analysis mode helps analyze the angles made with the trajectory of light, and Planning Modes allows you to draw on the level before making your move

Growths

Sometimes the gameplay loop feels like a lot of Guess and Check due to the amount of angle precision it takes to reach the end
You are given 3 lives before the level restarts which slightly frustrated me
Th…2 found this helpful
Recommended if you get trapped in a dark room with nothing but a PC with this installed.1 found this helpful
Interesting little half-hour puzzle game. I do wish there was more of it, but that's not a complaint as much as it is a compliment.
