Lilycle Rainbow Stage!!!

This is a good yuri visual novel. It's not the kind of story that's going to move you emotionally or make you think differently about the world, it's just a cute story about a group of gay girl friends and girlfriends going to high school. It's just the right amount of funny and just the right amount of cute. There are lots of couples, all of which are a joy, but no matter what you like, there is likely to be at least one couple you really adore. There's a lot to like about this game, with the character designs and voice acting really shining. But my absolute favorite thing about the game is that each couple has their own ending theme that they sing as a duet when the credits roll after each of their endings. And they are all amazing.

The incest and other "taboo" relationships were a big deal breaker for me. Felt very loli fetishy not great for anyone with a developed frontal lob

I like slice of life, I really do - but this is so slice of life that it doesn't feel like anything is happening at all. Every event scene (you select them on a calendar like kindred spirits on the roof) is a number of the characters being together and talking about random ♥♥♥♥. Also every conversation goes on WAY longer than it needs to do. I tried to tough it out to see if anything was going to start happening as it is cute and has a relaxing atmosphere, but I have to draw a line at some point. There's also a big issue that I don't understand how it made it to release. So every character is tied to a specific colour, which is not terribly (although if you have coiour-blindness yeah red is one of them just so you know) the problem is some of those characters text colours is the same as the dialogue box (the box is not always the same colour, depends on characters and not in a good way) meaning those characters lines kinda blend into the box.

This game is pure fluff. Every couple was just so adorable and fun to watch! Even if there aren't crazy plot developments, it's nice to just watch couples be all happy. After playing through everything, I'm just so sad I'll never get to see more everyday events of all these people just being together. AAAAA

A masterpiece, worth the full price. 10/10
