Ling House: Echoes Within

Ling House is, for the most part, a serviceable short horror game, undeserving of Steam's "Almost Negative" reviews at the moment. The game is not groundbreaking, and it's nothing we haven't seen before, either negatives or positives. The graphics are what's expected from a single dev, and the story, though nothing to write home about, isn't the worst I've seen either. The price is fair, and as for me, I managed to play without any major hiccups until the last session, which saw a huge drop in FPS, though I suspect it was due to the game rendering both versions of the world at the same time. Besides the abrupt ending I did not expect, lol, this was a pretty good game that had me entertained for over an hour. It was very good with the puzzles, awesome juimp scares, good story, etc. I really liked this game. However, it did not make it to my favorites...but it's close! I'd give it a 7/10.

Updating review to a thumbs up (since the Dev released a patch). This is a great, but short, horror game. Reminded me of PT a bit and the mind sequences/space from Stranger Things. As an effort by a solo dev, well done.
