About Linxy The Lynx
Linxy is known for saving his home (Mangoberry Island) from the nefarious Prof.B.Ray on a weekly basis and this time it's not all that different, B.Ray is up to some scheme that revolves using his Nature Taker-er to power his Linxy Destroyer-er!
Overview
Play as Linxy and use his slick moves to get to Prof.B.Ray's fortress! Along the way you'll find bounce pads and aerial bounce pads that'll boost you vertically and horizontally respectively, you'll encounter grind rails that Linxy can ride at high speeds but it's not a smooth ride you'll need to be quick in order to jump bottomless pits, stalagmite pits and lava pits that split rails apart!
Collectables
Along your way you'll find little motherboard looking things called Remix Chips, these chips allow you to unlock new levels that are harder and introduce a couple of new mechanics you won't encounter on your normal journey.
Collect a ton of Coconuts for a final secret!
Moveset
Linxy has an easy to learn hard to master moveset so anyone at any skill level can pick up the game and play!
Linxy has your typical jump, a double jump, a slide and a slide jump!
The slide jump prioritizes distance over height so if you want to get up to higher ground you're best off normal jumping.
As for a slide it will give Linxy a temporary burst of speed and can be used to pop every enemy in the game!

At launch I was disappointed in Linxy the Lynx, which I was hoping would improve more relative to it's janky-yet-promising Next Fest demo. With the Revamped update, Linxy is now the game that I was hoping for it to be. Level design is the strongest point. The developer clearly has a good understanding of gameplay flow, and while there's still some room for mechanical improvement it does frequently capture that satisfying feeling of hitting the right jumps to stay on the fast path in a Sonic game. I did feel like some deaths were avoidable due to jank around the double jump mechanic. Particularly, if you double jump while being propelled upward it interrupts your vertical momentum. It would feel more consistent if double jumping simply added to your pre-existing vertical movement, or you could make high jumps have a unique animation that is uninterruptable. Another thing that felt odd to me is that jumping when you hit an enemy from above doesn't send you into a higher jump, in the way it would in most platformers. Because my instinctive response is to jump when I hit an enemy, I kept accidentally triggering a double jump right before landing on it. Eliminating enemies is never a …6 found this helpful
