At its surface, it appears to be another entry in the long line of idle games built around clicking, upgrading, and watching numbers steadily inflate. However, the longer you engage with it, the clearer it becomes that the game is less interested in mechanical innovation and more focused on commentary—specifically, on the culture of monetization, artificial progression, and psychological hooks that define many modern gaming experiences. The gameplay begins in a deliberately straightforward way, with the player clicking to generate currency and unlocking upgrades that improve efficiency. This early phase is hands-on, requiring constant input, but as is typical for the genre, the game gradually transitions into automation. Systems begin to run themselves, production scales exponentially, and the player’s role shifts from active participant to passive overseer. A lovely little idle game that has a minor story to follow. I thoroughly enjoyed DLC Quest and this game, while different, did not disappoint either. It's sad to see nothing else was made after this as I really did enjoy the vision behind each game! Definitely give this a try if it sounds even remotely interesting to you.

44p... that's all I paid for this amazing experience and once in a lifetime opportunity, being in the shoes of this person made me realise an aspect of life that is "nothing really matters" the hours and dedication spent to uncover the MacGuffin just for it to be disappointing is the true key and meaning to life, and that is that there is no meaning, so go outside and go and do something with your life Bonus: The Music is awesome sauce and the gameplay was addictive and fun to take my mind off an overstimulating day! love ya Going Loud Studios, I hope you make it big but don't be as big as the rotten companies you mock!

[i]Loot Box Quest[/i] is a game about making numbers go up, and investing those numbers in ways that will make your numbers hit given milestones in the shortest amount of time. And it is an idler, in the truest sense of the word: even with optimal play, there will be minutes at a time when there's just nothing to do. Probably a good second-screen experience. Tepidly recommended.
