Lost Child

Lost Child is a hallway-driven psychological horror experience clearly inspired by P.T., but it does make an effort to add its own identity on top of that formula. The shifting corridors, environmental storytelling, and gradual memory reveals create a solid foundation, and the sound design and visuals do a good job selling the atmosphere. There’s a steady sense of unease as the game pushes you forward, and mechanically it understands why that looping, claustrophobic structure works for horror. Where it struggles is in clarity and technical performance. The story leans into ambiguity, but at times it crosses into confusion, making it difficult to follow the character’s past or the full meaning behind certain events. Some puzzles and progression moments can feel unclear as well, and performance issues don’t help — certain sections, like the rainy hallway, can cause heavy frame drops that make inspecting objects and moving forward feel rough. Overall, I’d land it around a 3/5. Good game with some great jump scares, but the story is way too short

Not great, got stuck at the doll part and couldn't continue. Looked up a playthrough and turned out to be a bug. Kinda meh game.

Prefer Paranormal Place, Holidays in Khrushchevsk, and Beside Myself over this wandering the same hallway over and over and over... nonsense. Likely missed any potentially good parts (as seen in screenshots) occurring later in the game. After 30 minutes of looping the same hallway with very little to see or do, my patience was gone. Andrey is obviously a bad dude. Can't we just put a knife in the doll's hand, pull a Gage Creed on him and be done with it?

As far as PT clones go, this was, by far, a very immersive experience. It starts off as a PT clone, but as it goes along, it basically carves out its own identity. I was hooked. There were a few trial-and-death scenarios that I didn't really like, but there's actually a good message by the end of it. Not exactly a wholesome one, but I kinda appreciated it for what it's worth.
