[h3]Enjoyment: 9/10[/h3] I'm not sure who the artist is but the artstyle is amazing and it's what made me commit to the purchase in the first place. The heroines and the background art look great. There were times I intentionally slowed down just to take them in and really admire the shading. With the store screenshots being mostly NSFW scenes, I was expecting the usual half-baked story with slop gameplay at first which isn't entirely wrong, but there's a lot more going for it than just that. Love Confessions on the Adventure reminds me a lot of the old school dating sims. The questing, fighting monsters, upgrading stats, then raising affection to romance the heroines. The split is about 50/50 between the visual novel segments and adventuring loop. I'm not gonna dive deep into the mechanics as others probably already covered it. To me, it was simple yet surprisingly addictive. I ended up playing for like 7 hours straight last night before forcing myself to sleep. I really liked interacting with the heroines. Nice H-game overrall. For the price. the length is nothing to complain about. The gacha mechanics were a little immersion breaking though. Also, while the game is designed so that the gameplay and the story follows each other, it's better to just focus on money-making early on and just complete all the bulletin board quests until max affection to read the whole chunk of stories later. Pro tip: just hit the training ground until you can one-shot enemies a if you have trouble with new areas.
