Players appreciate this short, atmospheric walking simulator's dreamy visuals and atmospheric lofi soundtrack that creates a relaxing, psychedelic forest experience rather than a true Backrooms exploration. However, common complaints center on the game's brevity, invisible wall restrictions that limit actual exploration despite seemingly large spaces, and some finding the audio mixing too loud, with many feeling the limited content doesn't justify the purchase price compared to free alternatives.
Just finished the game, couldnt find achievement. Its a chill lsd dream emulator type game, not really seeing any backrooms vibes more like magical forest but yeah its pretty cool game.7 found this helpful
just plain rubbish, extremely short and music is far too loud7 found this helpful
I wish there was a way to leave a neutral review, but since I have played free games with more content, I'll have to leave a negative one. Despite the title, this game has nothing to do with the Backrooms, and if you're expecting sprawling explorable spaces, this isn't it. The levels look massive but have arbitrary invisible walls, which leaves you with little more than an oval or circle to walk around in. The visuals are pretty for most of the levels (if you like low-poly fantasy forests), and the lofi soundtrack is mostly relaxing. If you don't mind an extremely short, lofi walking simulator that is actually LSD Dream Emulator rather than the Backrooms, then by all means play it if you like the screenshots, but be aware that the experience is pretty much ONLY what is shown in the screenshots. Even then, I would only recommend it at a steep discount.5 found this helpful
This is a short game but I would say come for the liminal spaces and stay for the music. It matched the level perfectly I went from wanting to go back to my rave days to wanting to lay out in the garden in the sun. You could probably replay this game but do not expect 5* gaming for the low price. But I do hope this developer continues to make games.5 found this helpful
