About LSD Dream Emulator: BRUTALISMUS
Step inside the dreams of a mind coming undone.LSD Dream Emulator: Brutalismus is a short, first-person experience inspired by David Lynch and LSD Dream Emulator, where you’ll explore the decaying remains of the mind of a brutalist architect fractured by his own obsessions. In this psychological walking simulator, vast empty plazas, towering monolithic structures, and impossible corridors reflect the unraveling of a haunted mind. As you move deeper, fragmented memories and scattered voices reveal a story of control, obsession, and madness. Concrete becomes both a symbol of power and a prison, as the boundaries between physical space and mental collapse dissolve.Inspired by games like: BABBDI, BLAME!, Bernband, Off-Peak, NaissanceE, Lorn’s Lure, Lorn’s Lure: Prologue, Manifold Garden, Infra, Interior Worlds, Everybody’s Gone to the Rapture, What Remains of Edith Finch, The Stanley Parable, The Beginner’s Guide, Dear Esther, Proteus, Scanner Sombre, Eastshade, Journey, Shape of the World, Kairo, Antichamber, The Witness, The Talos Principle, Ether One, Layers of Fear, Paratopic, Mind: Path to Thalamus, Asemblance, Obduction, The Longest WalkKey Features:Short, atmospheric experience: Designed to be completed in a single session.Brutalist architecture as protagonist: Explore striking environments inspired by Le Corbusier, Paul Rudolph, and forgotten modernist utopias.Environmental and fragmented storytelling: No HUD, no markers — only you and the echoes of a broken psyche.Minimalist ambient soundtrack to heighten the weight and beauty of abandoned structures. Can you tell the difference between concrete reality and the ruins of the mind?*Two background visuals in this game were created using AI tools. This choice is part of the game’s metaphor about artistic adaptation and the relationship between creators and new technologies.

Obviously the developer may make a good game one day cause he makes the visuals quite right but this time it is not really even a game. Just a loop of the same place that wants to be thought-provoking though fails completely. As I read other reviews and replies, the topic of AI vs Artists is a great one but if you wish to make a good GAME it must have GAMEplay even when it is just a walking simulator.6 found this helpful
Exactly the same issues as in "BRUTALISMUS: Dystopia" from this dev. Runs horribly, settings menu doesn't work, head-bobbing animation is terrible. Also appears to be the exact same game.5 found this helpful
I wish I had read the reviews before purchasing, steam recommended this game to me and I was quick to try it out for less than 2 dollars. This is nothing as the title implies, it is a linear walk through 30 second segments that lack any depth. The game has AI assets and does not tell you so in the description. I doubt anything but the writing was actually made by the developer, the models, shaders, and music all appear to be flipped or AI. The writing also provides very little, just generic attempts at being esoteric. Fairly certain the positive reviews are bought or bots to make the game appear in recommended tabs of steam. Despite paying less than the cost of a bag of chips I still feel robbed, do yourself a favor and completely skip this title.3 found this helpful
İts not really interesting, or good. Dont waste your money and time on this 3/103 found this helpful
I bought it without looking too much into it. After 20 minutes I’m done. I don’t understand how this game is different from the dev’s first game. To just talk about this one in isolation: This game has one (1) thing in common with LSD Dream Emulator: The camera bobbing being atrocious and not changeable. There is an attempt at a story, but it’s not really going anywhere. I am guessing it has been ported directly from the last game, but I don’t understand why it was kept as LSD Dream Emulator famously lacks a connected narrative. The music was fitting, but I don’t remember it. However I remember HOW ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ LOUD IT WAS.1 found this helpful
