Another fantastic emotional roller coaster from Key.

I'm kicking myself for not getting around to LUNARiA sooner, since I wound up really enjoying it! It's a lovely little story that takes a bit to get moving, but once it does, it doesn't slow down for a single second. A few small things in the ending felt somewhat rushed to me, but that doesn't detract from how much I sobbed. This is Key, after all! If you enjoy other Key kinetic novels, I'd safely call this one of their best.

This is a very good visual novel. As usual, Key tells a story that is equal parts fun and emotional. The writing for all of the main characters is great. I do wish the fictional game at the center of the story was fleshed out a little bit better, and that all the races weren't pretty much exactly the same -- but that's probably because I long for another experience like Aokana, where the game people are playing is just as compelling as the characters are. That's not really the case here. As is par for the course for Key VNs, you'll probably shed some tears, but walk away feeling happy and fulfilled.
