The desert vibes are immaculate, the critters and people that join the caravan are varied, and I enjoy the city designs. Easily worth the 4 bucks and can be played while doing other stuff!

I first bought Hell's High Harmonizers for my Switch a couple years back, and found myself infatuated with the charm of the simulation game. Since then, I've gotten a Steam Deck to play the PC games that just don't quite translate to console, and was thrilled to discover the developer had made another game: maboroshi caravan. Once more, I'm in love with the charm of the game. It's a very hands-off-if-you-want idle game, to the point where it seems like it's meant to be a desktop game that sits windowed while you do other things. The idea of materializing the spirits to help them eventually move on is rewarding in its own way, and even just fifteen minutes in this game has made me invested to see everyone to the end. It's a soothing balm for the topic of death and the afterlife. The mechanics of levelling up and improving stats are a bit of a learning curve, but I find that aspect part of the charm of any game this developer makes. The same can be said for the translation as well; it is a bit stilted for words, but the oddity of word choice, again, is another reason that this and HHH are games that are somewhat of a kind of a therapy for me. All in all, I've spent $4 for much, mu…

This game is good! Its a chill incremental game with a really good aesthetic and a nice looping song. I feel like it puts you in that trance that only happens with a good incremental game

Hits a very specific itch of "game you run to make up little stories about in your head". The world is just detailed enough to draw you in, but the real enjoyment in this game comes from filling in the blanks of lore and characterization they give you from both records you find while playing and emergent gaming. Otherwise, it's a very hands-off idle game that's more for low energy/second screen activity than numbers and optimization.

unique idle game about the dead lost souls of a desert in which we are to help release them from the chains of this world. playing very differently from other idle games, it does not accelerate with efficient upgrades and growth constantly. it's more about the experience. there are little character blurbs and "lore" if you dig and they are neat. the art style is very cute and appealing to me fitting the vibe while remaining simplistic and abstract.

Very peaceful and relaxing, nice pixel art, not a lot of content yet. I check in on my little guys once a day and make sure everyone is sorted and healed etc. I'm looking forward to the developer adding more content in general. I like that you can minimize the game screen down to a little scroll-bar box and can have your caravan chilling with you off on another monitor or something too!
