About Machinicide
Machinicide is a boomer shooter with imm sim and bullet hell elements. Reduce all evil robots to scraps with a huge arsenal of futuristic weapons and abilities, such as telekinesis, changing of gravity and many more.
Shock the hell out of evil bots. Use telekinesis to throw robots at other robots. Change gravity. And lots more. Running out of weapons to shoot? Just point your hand at enemies to turn them into more weapons while enjoying a shower of confetti. Obliterate bosses that try to overwhelm you with large amounts of projectiles. Who needs to reload when you have a near-endless supply of guns at your disposal? Just throw away your used weapons right in the face of your enemies

A very fun boomer shooter! Does feel unfair at certain points but I feel that can be easily fixed with some QOL updates. Really liking all the different weapons and enviormental puzzles. I feel like this game is gonna be fun to replay and speedrun!9 found this helpful
No loot hoarding, power comes from upgrades and as a true boomer shooter, it delivers punishing yet rewarding gameplay with unique weapon mechanics7 found this helpful
Fun shooter with really cool original ideas. Though it's a bit janky in some places.6 found this helpful
It has its strengths and potential. Just feels like an unfinished demo. Cannot recommend it yet, but I would rather give it a positive in support of what has been done right thus far. The gameplay surrounds finding guns to shoot robots, but not in the boomer shooter way of "You have this gun. Find ammo". One gun = one clip, and then you just throw the gun away. That COULD of course work, if the physics and movement worked better. The physics are quite wild all the time, and sometimes you just don't even know how things exploded. I do believe that going more in the way of Borderlands/Gunfire Reborn could do great things for this game, and potentially even make it a lot more fun without that much change into it. Truly does feel like it needed more playtests, and to analyse what people like/don't like as they did. Just a bit more time in the oven, since the assets are already there. I got really tired from like a 20 minutes run that quickly made me really lost as in "what I'm doing" and "where I progress to", specially with the amount of locked doors everywhere. Not saying the first level represents the entirety of the game, but your first level should be the most polished. That…4 found this helpful
it needs more time in the oven, driver timeouts (only happened once i launched the game, i had 4 or 5 in a row) and the camera jolts around like crazy. from the little i played its fun, but i can't actually play due to the issues. 7900 XTX, 7800X3D and 32 GB DDR5 are my specs4 found this helpful
I can't hate this, but it feels half-baked. There are some great ideas, like the augment arm and the gunplay element. But the game is short and unpolished. But it is a great example of great ideas, poor execution, so thumbs up as a cautionary tale. I hope the devs' next game will be polished, because they have a really unique perspective.3 found this helpful
