About MalovMetaArt Metaverse

MalovMetaArt is a metaverse of world art, a digital museum that allows you to view the digital twins of world masterpieces that are identical to their physical counterparts.

The key distinction among MalovMetaArt and similar projects is the 100% accurate replication of artworks. Using photogrammetry and laser scanning techniques, we have created a way to create precise digital twins of the masterpieces of world art you see in the app. You can even touch, zoom and examine the artworks from all sides. In virtual space, you can hold an item (which is not allowed in a real museum) or get up close to unique paintings, so close that they can see the texture of each touch of the genius’s brush.

Non-traditional exhibition galleries are another feature of MalovMetaArt. Here you may admire glass artworks exhibited under the starry sky of faraway planets, as well as masterpieces of painting in a subway hall of mid-20th century.

Many of us don't frequently visit regular museums. So, give a go to a virtual one. You'll like it. Furthermore, MalovMetaArt Metaverse is better and more convenient than a traditional museum in many aspects.

Pretty good gallery collection. What brings it down are the bad controls, and it could also really use some comfort settings.

"MalovMetaArt Metaverse" is not a game. Games contain meaningful gamelike interaction and game loops, which are absent in this software. Instead of being a game, "MalovMetaArt Metaverse" is a software application that presents a virtual art gallery with a bunch of artwork stolen from actual artists and used here for the purpose of glorifying a talentless developer, trying to get famous off the back of other people's work. So the artwork here might look nice; because it was stolen from real artists. Kind of like an OG asset flip, if you think about it... and every big as morally and creatively bankrupt. For those unfamiliar with what actually makes something a game, a "game loop" describes the interaction and feedback a gamer has when playing a game. Tetris, for example, has a game loop where a random block appears, the gamer interacts with the block to position it, and then the game decides if that finishes a row or not, increases the players score if any rows were completed, then gives the gamer another block to position. Counter-Strike has a game loop where a player seeks another player, tests their skill against that player by shooting them or being shot, the computer rew…

Incredible! VR at it's best! And for free? I would give 40 € for it, without a second thought.

I thought it would be impossible to fumble something as easy as walking around in an art gallery, I was wrong. While the art on display in this one (the Modern Art one is less to my taste) is great, the entire experience is built on a fundamentally flawed framework. I played via a Quest 3, for reference. First and biggest strike against it is that it does not allow you to adjust height. I went into this expecting to be able to view the gallery while seated, no such luck. On top of that I had several minor graphical glitches all of the place. I'd love to come back and explore more if the devs offer some sort of free floating locomotion option so that I could truly look at the art from all angles, as they advertise. And if it's already there, it is not accessible via quest 3 controllers.

Looks great! Works on vive pro 2 with wand controllers. Very detailed, even the insides of bowls are rendered.
