Marktopia Review (10/10) I, Schlaacka, have seen the peak of human artistry, and it came in the form of Marktopia, a game that has boldly redefined what it means to simulate a supermarket. I 100%’d this masterpiece on stream, live, with my community—yes, every criminal chased, every shelf stocked, every “Musterd” bottle sold. And if you don’t believe me, the entire odyssey is preserved in amber on YouTube under Schlaacka VODs. The storyline was nothing short of Shakespearean. Forget “Supermarket Simulator”—this game doesn’t just let you run a store. It lets you chase down criminals, rehabilitate them, and in so doing, rehabilitate yourself. Bruce. George. Or was it David? No one actually knew who anyone’s name was, and that made it even better. The confusion was deliberate, I think—a commentary on identity, late capitalism, and how customers are both everyone and no one at the same time. Graphically, the game is raw and unflinching. Every asset straight out of Unity, unedited, untouched, like sacred relics preserved in their test-mode purity. Dialogue windows still bearing placeholder text.
