A point and click adventure set on Mars. The story is pretty uninspired, it's the classic "something went horribly wrong on Mars" with monsters, infections and religious zealots. The puzzles alternate between infuriatingly obscure to completely obvious, with very little in the middle. The English version of the game contains a few extremely confusing (one might say unintelligible) statements that will leave you scratching your head wondering what do they mean. If you want to spend a few dollars to support an indie company I guess you could give this a try, but this has not been a very enjoyable game.

This game is a decent adventure title, and as a big fan of horror and space themes, those elements were the main reason I decided to purchase the Pacotão CGGAMES BUNDLE during a sale. Unfortunately, I can’t recommend it for several reasons, with the biggest issue being its poor optimization for modern systems. https://youtu.be/3eiPnRcyE04 That said, if you manage to get it running, the game offers an intriguing story, though it’s marred by noticeable translation issues. The audio and music are fairly basic and don’t stand out. On the technical side, the game works well on older setups (I tested it on an RX580 with Windows 11, and it also runs under PROTON for Linux), but it struggles with slightly newer AMD cards like the Radeon RX 6750 XT. If you’re interested in a detailed review of POPIXEL, another game in the bundle, you can check out this review: https://steamcommunity.com/id/cipherhawk/recommended/485560?snr=1_5_9__402 Overall, while the themes are appealing, the technical issues make it hard to recommend.

As a horror and science game fan, I'm often looking for one of two things: something very strange or something very bloody. Mars: The New Eden does a good job being both at the same time. The developers are keyed into the sweeping cosmic horror that really captivates my imagination. So much love has been poured into the pixelated gore graphics and animations, which kept me taking screenshot after screenshot to share with my friends. The developer is clearly not a native English speaker with the occasional grammatical hiccup and a couple puzzles had me scratching my head in terms of the logic, but they were still easily completed through brunt force. One puzzle had us clamoring in the discussion thread over its leap in logic, but CGGAMES was quick to respond and provide a more adequate fix that makes the game easily completed. Despite these translation issues, anyone who loves horror and adventure games really ought to try this one out. I was always excited to see what would happen next, and my jaw dropped more than once over several of the game's very well animated atrocities. I have faith that CGGAMES will be responsive to player feedback and hope they make more games like thi…

Basic point&click story game. Fairly basic, not too big/long, not a lot of wasted time running back and forth, and logical puzzles that make sense (you just have to make sure you're thorough in searching). You might have to write down a couple hints to recall them accurately, the game doesn't hand-hold. No real time pressure, so fairly laid-back play. Sort of your basic sci-fi/horror story premise, not bad. I only ran into a couple glitches, fairly minor. I would recommend. I enjoyed it.
