I'll be honest, despite its size, this is one of the best Blacjack inspired game I've played. It's fast, the card combos are fun and the tune is energetic. But most importantly, it absolutely delivers on its promise to allow broken combos with infinites also being a thing. Overall, everything just clicks. That said, due to its small size, it gets repetitive after a few hours. It has one hero, no substantial enemy variety and a limited card selection. The difficulty levels add an extra challenge, but already losing full heal on lvl 2 exposed how the game's RNG can be problematic. Not being offered good cards early means losing too much hp and potentially the entire run. Maybe the gameplay isn't able support any longevity, but can't help but feel there is a bigger game underneath. Regardless, MEGAKO PUNCH is well made, engaging and, most of all, very punchy. I love this game so much! I play it on my Ally all the time when I'm bored. I've played the "infinite" mode a million times, tho that's my biggest gripe with this game. Yeah you can change the modifiers and apply funny challenges to them, but it's still not truly "infinite". There's a boss at the end of the set of levels, then you lose your awesome setup of cards that get you there. I'd love to see a true infinite mode where I can see where my snowball gets crazy OP. That is the thrill that rougelike players chase after all. Still a 10/10 game. Will gamble on the daily.

Cute little game. Suitable for its cheap price. Basically half an hour worth of game. However the game balance on endless 2 onwards is trash. You don't have enough options to get rid of cards you don't want. other card games have none battle events that let you get rid/gain cards. You have no way to get a specific build besides hoping to get it as a battle reward. And this game does not have items so once you have a bad draw, you take a lot of damage. (which is fine for the main game where you recover fully after each battle)

- A short but incredibly fun roguelike deck-building game. - At first, I struggled quite a bit to get a win, because my deck was poorly balanced, I had too many "Finish" cards (card with unlimited cost), and I hadn't figured out how to cancel enemy attacks yet. I usually relied on Armor and/or leveling up my Attack to survive. - After a few more runs and moving my cursor around, I realized that almost every HUD element actually provided useful information. Once I understood what all the information meant, the game became much easier to understand and much more enjoyable to play. - Once I understood how the mechanics worked, I tried another run and focused on building a more balanced deck. That's when the game really clicked for me. The final boss fight was especially exciting and surprisingly tense. I had to carefully calculate whether the cards I placed on the field were enough. One wrong calculation could mean failing to cancel the boss's attack or not having enough Armor to survive it. I'm really satisfied with this game. It's short, but the gameplay is incredibly fun, and figuring out how to build a proper deck and make the right decisions during each run feels very satisfying

Good short and sweet roguelite. the art style and ui is charming, and some of the combo loops can be pretty satisfying to pull off. Not really much of a story and not too much to unlock like other outfits and not that big of an enemy roster variety etc, but there's a snappy enjoyable blackjack themed punchy roguelite that'll be fun for a few hours without overstaying its welcome as you learn how to make some pretty large combos along the way.
