I can't beat anyone in this game, I even lose to the bots. But it's from TYPE-MMON so I just bought it.
One of my favorite fighting games: great characters, an amazing soundtrack, plenty of single-player content, no microtransactions, and all DLC characters are free. It is easy to learn and I think it is a good option for new players to the genre. Also, it feels really great playing with a controller. The player base is still active, so you can still find some matches against random people. If you don't like waiting for players, there are online groups where you can find people to play with. To be honest, though, I am too introverted for that, so I cannot say for sure. I only wish it had Remote Play Together so I could play with my Steam friends since I cannot use Parsec to host on my PC. Also, I would like this game to have crossplay between platforms (like consoles) so the player pool would be larger. I hope both of these features get implemented in the next entry TWI LUMINA. In short, it is a really fun fighting game that I would recommend to anyone. Get it on sale so you can get a feel for it without spending much before TWI LUMINA launches in 2027, which will help you decide whether to buy the new game at launch or not.
