I bought the collection of three games, and tried this one and the Van Gogh title. I didn't play Newton as I figured it would have the same issues. The games are beautiful - the Van Gogh title especially had gorgeous vibrant colours in the various scenes. Unfortunately both the games I played had the same issue. They start out well enough, but very soon the items to search for become extremely difficult to find as they can be very small and blend into the background too much. As others have said elsewhere, there is no real hint system - just a lightbulb to tell you there's still something to be found in that scene. There is no way to get help with actually finding the objects, and no way to skip the hunt and move on with the story. Maybe it's just my poor eyesight, but for me these games are too frustrating as I really can't find the things I need! Sadly I had to request a refund for the bundle, and can't recommend it due to the inability to skip or get proper help.3 found this helpful
For the price, I enjoyed it, though it can be a slog sometimes. (Back and forth, back and forth.) But, five levels, and the items can be very hard (or very easy) to find, so there's decent value for the price.2 found this helpful
rating: 5/5 such a good hidden object game! not too easy, not too hard. i personnally had a lot of fun going from frames to frames over and over again cuz all of them are gorgeous (and cute with all the cats), it's a pleasure to see them honestlyy!
