Mirai Minato, a student at Mokuyo High School, is enjoying his ordinary days spent with his tsundere childhood friend, Meguri Sasaduka. She dutifully performs the childhood friend trope of waking him up in the morning by climbing in through his window―
M-Meguri? How do you know what I’m writing? Actually, that's not important right now. I’m trying to set the scene and entice the reader with the setting of the game. 
Anyway, as we were saying… Mirai’s ordinary days come to a halt as he gets hit with meet cute after meet cute and he suddenly finds all kinds of romantic routes opening up before him!

Disclaimer: I have only played the game in english. "Meta Meet Cute" is an absolute delight of a vn! Totally crazy, totally exciting and totally emotional! An insane metastory game with increbible embedded narrative! First of all, a metastory is a story about stories; an overarching story having other stories embedded within it. Secondly, it's a very difficult literaly device that usually ends up being a huge mess and a colossal waste of time. Which brings me to my third point... It has been done exceptionally well here! It's not confusing, it doesn't lose track of continuance and it's perfectly intertwined and entangled together! There are many branching side stories and some main routes. I had no problems with the translation (minor to almost none errors) or understanding what is going on. Every character is really distinct and charming in its own way. Their personallities vary a lot which makes for a crazy mix! Some stories are serious, others light and some outright unhinged. It is amusing and humorous, even on the darkest of moments in a semi-twisted way. The fuse of pureness and depravity is exceptional and I was astound by the reshaping amongst them in a witty entertaining…3 found this helpful
