Metal Ape

Metal Ape took me on a nice little visit to the Purgatory. The game has fun challenges, good sound design and mesmerizing visuals. I had fun playing with it, I'd love to see a sequel to it in the future.

An interesting first game with a truly unique visual style. It’s a bit messy, and the combat introduced in the second half feels underdeveloped, but it’s a solid first attempt nonetheless.

My Steam Rating: Very Positive Positives Game feels like a prologue but it is 100% complete Beautiful art design and numerous brutal death animations Doesn't reinvent the wheel of 2D platformers but each level was fun to traverse Negatives There are zero setting options. Home screen you will have choice of Continue, New Game, or Exit $3 sale price for less than 90 minutes of game play. Some levels it is hard to see your character and sometimes the exit platform

Extremely great visuals, and some fun platforming! I lacked a bit of a more profound ending. Like something that would make me go "WOW" in these closing moments that I worked hard for, but here it wasn't actually much of a spectacle. Just an "okay, cool" reaction Yet, still this game had a lot of fun ideas, and even tho the puzzles were simple, I had fun completing each level.
