[h1] A really meh WayForward game [/h1] After years of having this on Steam, I finally gave it a go and 100% it solo. So I have no idea what the game is like multiplayer, from what I've read it doesn't sound much better. It's ironic how it's made in GameMaker Studio. The whole game feels like a poorly done fangame, complete with mostly reused assets.. I love vaporwave so the level backgrounds are decent for what they are, just a real downgrade from the actual art in 1 and 2. The price for this game is just sad. The controls feel off compared to other MSF games.. and they somehow managed to make the purple launch squares even more annoying. Now they require even more precise timing and bombs just explode if you don't get them exactly inside. It isn't like that in MSF HD, pretty sure it wasn't in the originals either. Playing the game on a TV is so painful because everything is so zoomed out. There's a few pixel perfect switches (mainly level 15, screw that) where you have to get to a higher platform infront of a wall. A really annoying thing in the originals and even worse now. So much restarting from making the smallest mistake over the hitbox.. Some levels have way too much b…

Currently the game is broken, upon play of the title and reaching to the robot which would clear the stage after picking up the convicts, the robot doesn't fly but instead stays put with a empty ♥♥♥♥ pit where cadet Wagon would ironically be. Thumbs down until this bug is fixed.

i can't even get 4 more players to play it this is just sad for me :(
