Mindfulness Simulator - ASMR Meditation Game

Not a bad little relaxation title. Neat to have playing in the background with a decent set of speakers. (or headsets if you want to sit for a few) I do my share of meditating, and I have done my share of camping in various locations, ecosystems, and weather. There is the rub for me, others may not notice. But sounds, and even animals around you, actually change during the different seasons and time of day. Sometimes, its dead silent other than your footsteps on the ground and your breathing. Here, it just loops. Also the Alan Watts recordings seem out of place, the static, and the folks in the background take you out of your mental place. Might have been better to have someone with a clear and better voice to just go over some of his writings. When you turn it off and just leave music, it works. System is an i3 with a 1060 card and a very old monitor running at 1900 x 1200. I did experience some occasional freezes, will run this on my bigger AMD system in the near future and compare. But for the price, its a step in the right direction as long as updates keep coming. UPDATE ran it on my 5700XT system. I prefer games that don't have a lot of things you have to do in order to make it progress. I get very frustrated with those and tend to quit. I like games with beautiful nature scenery that I can relax with. That's why I chose this one. When I first stated playing it, I didn't understand how you could move between moving with the WASD controls and staying still. You have to press "E" to "go back to your ego." That's how you can move. If you want to change something about the game, you have to press "E" again to change the weather or time. This was definitely not intuitively obvious to me. I eventually did figure it out. When I saw the different weather choices, I thought many of them were too dark. They are all just the same location with different weather. It seemed a bit too much like I was going around in circles in a very small area at first. However, as I went on, I realized it is a bit bigger than I thought. I think this will be a nice game to relax with. I am a Twitch streamer and I think my viewers will enjoy it. Many of them like to stay in my stream while they work or study. A very pleasant endeavor and a great idea. This is my go-to every day for meditation. The graphics are beautiful, music appropriate, and overall it's a very peaceful experience. Controls are simple once they're learned and DEVs are very interactive here. Well worth the small price.

I recommend it, the dialogue is very liberating and the experience is very simple but very high quality for the price.

Pretty good 'game' for relaxing.
