Players praise Mission Ammunition for its charming retro aesthetic, fun gameplay mechanics, varied level design, and responsive controls that capture the spirit of classic run-and-gun shooters. However, common complaints include repetitive difficulty with frequent deaths leading to level restarts, floaty or sometimes unresponsive controls, enemy bullets blending into the background making them hard to see, and some feeling the game relies too heavily on puzzle-solving rather than action, making it feel less engaging than similar titles.
This game loves instant deaths and doesn't like checkpoints but was overall fun to 100%.13 found this helpful
Mission Ammunition is a retro-styled action platformer developed and published by Quantized Bit that proudly embraces the aesthetics and spirit of old-school run-and-gun shooters. From its opening moments, the game wastes no time establishing its energetic, tongue-in-cheek tone. You take on the role of Jake, a tough ex-military operative from Team Hot Guns, summoned by the city mayor to neutralize an escalating crisis after a maximum-security prison is taken over by heavily armed criminals. Explosions bloom with satisfying flair, enemy projectiles streak across the…2 found this helpful
Very interesting and unique mechanics for the genre, I haven't played many titles similar to this. Wonderful game, loved every second of it. This is what side-scrollers should aspire to be. Wish the best of luck to the developers!
This is what Broforce would look like if it were made into a boring puzzle
Wow! incredible game, so funny to play that you can't stop playing. It remembered me another great game: Not a Hero. PROS: very fun to play + explosions + weapons + levels are quite varied and well done + responsive controls + catchy music CONS: you die sooooo many times and start the level again and again that you finally get bored
Juego de acción, con algún que otro puzzle (para conseguir secretos, y alguno hacia al final). Bastante entretenido.
