Really original concept that mixes platforming with coding a companion robot that can be used as a platform. Fun and challenging, just a bit short. Good job. I want more puzzles!5 found this helpful
Model Human has a perfect learning curve: an easy, even kids friendly start, but unforgiving difficult ending. (Well, almost unforgiving, I managed to have moves to spare in the final world. You probably know that dopamine shot all too well, right?) The limited and original instruction set fosters creative thinking; some puzzles did throw me off, and then you go like "wait a minute, what if I just try ..." and boom, one more down! A bit short, but well, all levels are original and it's only about a buck. And otherwise I would be playing all night. Model Human feels like a Zachtronics game, and there is no higher praise than that in this genre (or in general).1 found this helpful
It's not about game basics, but about the pleasure of code. Don't expect a progressive difficulty, it escalate very quickly. I like the concept. I expected something along the lines of Portal regarding story and maybe some powerups tools for some freedom, to break the repetitive linear progession of the platformer gameplay, but as it is it's just a linear puzzler using very basic platformer elements. Why the human is naked (if it is a humand and not an android coming to htink of it) is a mystery and will remain so. (transhumanist proparganda about how everyone is nothing but a biological machine? mystery.) This game does what it does well. But for what it has to offer, it's not worth its price: games like this are usually around of 3 bucks, at great maximum. I played a few minutes then took a refund.1 found this helpful
