Weird little game, but a surprisingly fun. Don't let the MS Paint graphics deter you. Systems have a surprising amount of depth and for less than a coffee, definitely worth it1 found this helpful
was fun for a few hours until i hit a bug that sent my balance to 18.4 quintillion, basically infinity for the scale of the game. would've loved to continue it and 100% it but i dont really want to start over or continue with no "incentive" so...
positives: - discoveries can be unlocked through research - rewarding progression and fairly complex mechanism - still played the game for a bit over 3h so far - negatives: - cannot cancel research after it started - cannot filter or search for moles based on names or skills - the whole discovery mechanic is tedious and prone to retying the same combination multiple times - it's not clear how research points are gained - a bug pushed my balance to 18.446 Octi and instantly ruined any progression or incentive of upgrading
Honestly, only thing I don't like is the time based escalating taxation. The taxation should be tied to how many moles you have not just a linear increase based on time.
Need balancing. Upgrades go from costing 30-200k to 20mil taking ages. After a few hours progress stops and can't go anywhere.
