Momento is a cozy room decorator with a twist: the objects you choose will alter the course of the story! Decorate your room, choose which items are important to you, and discover how these choices play out over the course of a lifetime.Begin in childhood, picking out toys that represent your dreams for the future. Momento is the result of a collaboration between Jasmine Phillips (Art Lead), Jessica Lyon (Narrative Lead), and Julian Beiboer (Technical Lead), three developers based across two micro studios – Fat Alien Cat & Nomo Studio – in Brisbane, Australia. I really liked this game. Enviornmental storytelling is something I am coming to like more and more, and if you like unpacking but wish there is more branching paths with your choices, I think you'll like this one.
I love this little game! It is so sweet and satisfying, and I love the storyline that is built through the various objects, some which change with your choices and others which stay the same no matter what. It's so fun to see how your life could be so different from just one source. Really lovely game
All I did was cry on this game. I managed to 100% in 11.9 hours. The unpacking and organisation of each level is cosy & relaxing while the puzzles are challenging enough to keep you engaged. The storyline is emotional and bittersweet. I really loved being able to replay the levels while choosing different pathways to find the puzzles but also see which choices affected the outcomes and which didn't. The ending was really beautiful and I bawled. I really recommend if you are looking for a story driven cosy puzzle game. I'm looking forward to the upcoming updates.
absolutely, mindblowingly fantastic. this beautiful game has crisp graphics along with a fitting art style, but also an important, complex sentimental aspect. learning how each piece of this game goes together was such a journey. i DID cry about 3 rooms in though. amazing, 11/10.
I've been aching for a game like this since Unpacking and this goes even further with multiple scenarios and ALL THE FEELS!! I hope they make more like this.
