Very good game and a really unique premise sad that the dev stopped updating as there was still so much potential 100% worth picking up on sale.
It has a pretty unique gimmick for a boomer shooter game. It is an overall enjoyable gaming experience.
The map layouts and fun reload system require a lot of strategy and forethought, allowing a high skill ceiling despite the seemingly simple and straightforward mechanics. Collecting bestiary entries and piecing together lore is really fun, and the kill counters on the specific entries are a great way to measure your progression. The game even has an awesome endless mode, one of the most important things to me in any game. To top it off, Monster Bullets features a charming art style and a soundtrack that really gets you in the mood for slaying creatures of myth with conventional firearms. 10/10
