Moon Garden

Requires a lot of babysitting in the beginning. It's fine otherwise. The satellite system did not really make a lot of sense to me in terms of how it generates data, but thankfully you eventually unlock an auto converter that handles it for you. Still, it was strange to have over 400,000 bits, click process data, get a critical success, and then only get 20,000 data from it. Especially when that required ~20 minutes of idling and the next satellite costs over 100k data.

Moon Garden takes the familiar satisfaction of an incremental game and wraps it in a cozy gardening theme where every flower planted and every upgrade purchased contributes toward a much larger objective. Instead of simply watching numbers climb for their own sake, the player is trying to grow an enormous tree capable of providing a way home. That straightforward goal gives the progression a tangible purpose and helps connect mechanics that might otherwise feel like separate layers of an idle game. Developed and published by Kairos Games LLC, it presents its systems with a lighthearted pixel-art style that makes optimization feel inviting rather than overwhelming. The garden is where most of the meaningful decisions begin. Flowers are placed inside garden pods, and their arrangement matters, turning cultivation into a small optimization puzzle rather than a purely passive activity. Experimenting with positioning and improving the efficiency of each pod provides an active component to a genre that can sometimes become little more than waiting for resources. It's very frontloaded with a lot of different currencies/resources, and then the second half is just waiting for the main tree to grow. Then i bought the final upgrade and the tree stopped growing at around 200m and nothing really happened.

a quick little gardening incremental type. It's very short, but I think it's a worthwhile experience all the same
